EN REJSE / A TRIP
Through a visual story, I illustrated a trip based on the words:
TO, INN, THROUGH, OVER, AROUND, UNDER, UP, DOWN, THROUGH and OUT
There are 10 illustrations for 10 words - each picture's purpose is to communicate the belonging words - but with no words. By using the picture book as media, the reader can decide whether they want the story to last 2 minutes or 2 hours. The detailed illustrations should inspire the reader to use their imagination to make up a story. It might change each time you tell it - only the imagination sets the limits!
The story is inspired by my own experience in the forest, where I got my inspiration for making the story. The protagonist too, experiences how impressions affect the mind. Through the trip, the imagination and inspiration grows.
